Japan day 3 (21.05): back to hiroshima


ひろしん研修センター "Hiroshin training center" - my new home for the next 3 weeks (2 weeks, since I only blogged about this today, grah.) The kitchen is really uncool. It looked like a fire just broke out there. Other than that, fantastic place that's gonna house poor me for the next few weeks. It also has a tv in the dining room, which has pathetic channels, although so far I've watched Kyou kara maoh s3 and some other craps and variety shows :o hmm.


This is my room, before it became a sty, which is the current case now. bras and underwear and clothes and food everywhere.

both beds are mineee!


Outside is a playground. a typical japanese playground. yay.

Japan days 1-3 (19.05 - 21.05): Himeji & Kobe


Yorozuya. Since when Gin-sama opened a cafe?! /horrors!! But then again, I didn't manage to go in because we were just passing by.

I'll definitely visit it the next time I go to Kobe. I wish I can see Gin-sama inside tending the shop in his usual-laidback attitude. Then I'll order Gin-sama's favourite parfait and strawberry milk to satisfy my fangirl desire. (note to self: I DRANK STRAWBERRY MILK TODAY - 28.05!!)




Beautiful mediterranean style buildings in Kobe. Damn out-of-place in concrete jungle Kobe, but still hmm, nice. They're hotels btw.



A stoic straight red postbox in the middle of nowhere. Looks like it came straight out of Mr bean. There's lots of these in England right?




This is Aeris' flower cart. Pretty deshou?! Zack made it for her personally!

Actually it's just a decoration cart thingie in some herb garden in Kobe. We took this really freaky and shaky cable car up the mountain. Enjoying the scenery (and the pain of our feet), we took a leisurely stroll down the mountain, encountering gross spiders which dangled their maggoty preys in mid air, and finally reached a watrfall(below).

Btw, my friend was wearing heels. She whined all the way. lol.





lets not forget world cultural heritage, Himeji Castle. I don't know why it's a world cultural heritage. I didn't read most of the story behind it because I was admiring the many cute Japanese middle-high school boys who were there for school excursions.

note to self: i bought yukata today. rate of investment = 0. but still, 4200yen for an entire set including the yukata proper, obi, geta and fan is really a good deal. Plus point, mine's really pretty!! ;D

I stole the computer in the hostel.

okay, just joking. Just that I'm currently blogging at an unearthly hour and I guess everyone is sleeping. Life in hiroshima has pretty much been smooth and such.　I walked around 20-25 minutes to the nearest train statioin everyday, and take tram from there to work. I'm getting used to walking with heels :D

Of course, I'm also becoming a bimbo.

PEOPLE, I'm in Japan, where all girls wear makeup. I can act like a total pink-obsessed bimbo and it's totally normal here. It's like freedom!!!

My friend commented I've potential to become a true blue brainless bimbo. I took it as a compliment.

OKay, enough pimping. I hope I can start uploading photos next entry.

3 weeks of internship. I hope it doesn't drain me too much. I've heard from previous batches that, they were 'treated like kings and queens' (!!); conclusion: they felt that they did not learn much. Seriously, I dunno whether to laugh or cry at that statement. lol.

Also, I've been shopping for gifts, gifts, and more gifts for host families, superiors, companies. gosh, it had been hectic, and it will be till sunday.

Apparently, there will be only 1 pathetic computer with internet there, so 8 of us will be taking turns on it. grah!! and there's NO WIRELESS!!! HOW TO SURVIVE WITHOUT MY LAPTOP :'(((

On a side note, yesterday's movie was nice. It was okay, it was japanese. Accuracy of death, about a shinigami appearing to people who are about to die. His job is to observe these people and to pass judgement on them on whether they will live or die. Weird plot but, nice overall. These shinigamis are weird;

they love music.

Then after that, I got tempted by the evil buta and gang to eat steamboat. GOD. I'm supposed to save money and I keep ending up spending more and more. what the farkkkkk. @#$@%#$%^$%^%&^*#$%@#$@.
